Where your file goes
Nowhere. This page downloads a small program into your browser, and that program reads the file straight from your disk. The program comes from this site like any image or stylesheet — but your file only ever travels from your disk into your own browser tab.
Why this one
What you get that the big converters cannot offer.
No forced A4
Each page takes the shape of its image. Forcing everything onto A4 either leaves white margins or cuts the edges off.
You set the order
Move images up and down before you build. Phones sort by filename, which is rarely the order you photographed in.
Photos never leave the device
Passports, ID cards and signed forms are the usual reason people need this, and they are the worst things to upload.
No page count limit
Twenty photos or two hundred. Nothing is metered.
How to use it
Choose your JPG or PNG images.
Drag them into the order you want.
Press Start and download the PDF.
When people use it
A form only accepts PDF
You have photos of the documents but the upload box refuses images. This turns them into one acceptable file.
Sending photographed paperwork
Photographing receipts with a phone is faster than scanning. One PDF is easier to send than fifteen attachments.
Keeping a set of pages together
Photos of a multi-page letter stay in order and stay together as one document.
Questions
Which formats can I use?
JPG and PNG. Those are what the PDF format can hold directly, so nothing has to be re-encoded and no quality is lost.
What about HEIC from an iPhone?
Convert it to JPG first with the HEIC to JPG tool on this site, then bring it back here.
Are the photos uploaded?
No. The PDF is assembled in your browser.
Will the images be compressed?
No. They are embedded as they are, so the PDF is roughly the size of the images added together.
Can I change the order?
Yes, reorder them in the list before you press Start.
