Nothing leaves your device, so it is safe for photos of passports, ID cards and signed forms. There is no account and no watermark on the result.

Each page is exactly the size of its image, measured one point per pixel. A small screenshot gives a small page and a full resolution phone photo gives a very large one. On screen this makes no difference, since PDF readers zoom to fit. When you print, choose fit to page in the print dialog so each image is scaled to your paper.

The pages follow the order of the list on the page, from top to bottom. Images join the end of the list in the order you add them, so the simplest way to control the order is to add them one at a time, or in batches, in the sequence you want. To move one to the end, remove it with the bin icon and add it again.

Screenshots saved as PNG and photos saved as JPG can sit side by side, each on a page of its own size. Other formats such as WebP or HEIC cannot go in directly. That image is marked as failed in the list and skipped. The PDF is still built from all the other images, so one bad file does not cost you the rest. A common cause is a file whose name ends in .jpg but which is really another format. If every image fails, no PDF is made. Open the problem file in an image viewer, save it again as JPG or PNG, and add it back to the list.

No. The PDF holds your photos as pictures, so any writing in them is part of the image, not text you can select or search. If you need the words, run the photos through the Image to Text tool on this site first. It reads printed text out of an image in your browser and gives you plain text to copy.
